Subaru XV 2021 She Wins
With the new release of the Subaru XV the goal was tell a story about the Safety, Fun and Freedom of the new model. Incorporate aspects of the XV safety features into the story of a 60sec and 30sec TVC for the Asian car market. Working with the product team and writers we developed a script for the TVC and then illustrated the storyboards and made an animatic for the team in Singapore to film the spot.
Covid 19 shutdown advertising for Subaru and made maintaining product awareness a challenge. Using the Engineer characters created for showcasing the Core Technologies I made animated versions of these characters which freed us to create content in a safe way.
Subaru Safety Campaign for EyeSight
Subaru is know for it’s dedication to safety above all else and with the introduction of a new version of it’s New EyeSight 4.0 camera they needed a new campaign to bring awareness to the wider and sharper view available and all the ways that made getting a new Subaru worthwhile.
Subaru Core Tech Campaign
With the multitude of Subaru Safety features they had developed a set of Core Technologies that were marketed as clear understandable safety features that made a Subaru the best choice for safety. The story that wasn’t coming across was that these Core Technologies had overlapping safety features that supported each other in large categories like stability, visibility and control. So the team of creatives set out to tell a story about the 100 interconnected safety features.

Create interest and test a more complete story about the newest Safety features available in the line of Subaru’s newest cars.To build a animating on scroll site I tested numerous available platforms and landed on Webflow to create a immersive experience that could easily prototype the site and sell in the concept to the client. Starting in Figma to build out storyboard frames of the product features and working closely with copywriters and product experts to best explain safety features that make a Subaru a leader in it’s category.
