A NEW WAY OF WALKING

This first exploration into illustration was a way for the Stellar Elements brand team to move beyond stock photography that was doing a poor job of speaking to the story or the article beyond generic visualizations. But it wasn’t an easy sell and introducing a new illustration style to the brand and new colors beyond the original primary and secondary palette took some time and care to develop in partnership with the creative director and the content team.

The first article illustrated was on the topic of the fragmented experience created when companies silo their channels and the experience between them feels
out of sync and disconnected for the user as they move from one touchpoint to another.

HIDDEN GAPS

Stellar Elements conducted research into experience gaps in all forms of industries and sectors. This was done with the belief that once gaps were identified in how businesses perceived things and how the customer or user experienced them the gap could be closed by thoughtful design. Despite heavy investments in tech, process, and data,
the gap remains—and it’s a big problem for growth and profits. These illustrations were created for white papers and articles that would go on to live on the
insights page of the Stellar Elements website.

LIBERATING AND EMPOWERING

The below illustration was for an article about GenAI and how it was being used in novel ways for employee training and growth among other things.
