Disney+

Stellar Elements ( formerly Projekt202 ) was instrumental in developing promotional campaigns and digital banners to help launch Disney+ from the start and through it’s expansion to other countries. Part of the effort was to gain subscribers and part was to promote new content in-device once they had become a subscriber. We developed digital campaigns by movie and series title for all available streaming platforms. This took careful coordination and consistency in execution to keep pace with new content that was released.

As Marvel and Lucasfilm began to promote multiple titles together to show the breadth of available content Disney+ needed to adapt there branding to best showcase titles and known characters together. The above example shows the result of numerous rounds of experiments to retain the brand style and accommodate multi-title promotion.


 

The full catalog

Launching a streaming platform requires an impressive catalog of content and you have to continue to roll out more and more offerings to build interest and grow subscribers steadily. This was my first project at Stellar Elements and I built on my experience with Electronic Arts to help the team maintain standards while keeping up a steady flow of marketing materials.
